I haven't seen one of those in years. Butler County, OH was greatly lacking in skinks and lightening bugs.

We don't live in skink territory, but they are cool little animals.

I love them--saw two tiny baby ones last weekend. Must have just hatched/born.

I thought they had become endangered or something because I always saw them growing up in inner city Louisville

And when we moved away and the one grandparent that still lived in the west end passed away, I never saw them anymore

Since I've come back, happy to report they are still quite numerous here!!
