about water flowing somewhere it shouldn't be

yay! got one nostril done. can't seem to do the other, though

thanks - i've long had a major fear of using nasal sprays and drops - can't get myself to squirt the stuff in my nose - so this is a biggie

it was ok when it was flowing through and i was breathing calmly through my mouth

the saline powder that came with the pot doesn't feel right, though. i need to switch to sea salt

i tried using just water in the other nostril, and it burned! didn't expect that

hahaha - thanks i think i'm just desperate, though

gotta go away this weekend, and i don't want to be sick

Dai Bosatsu Zendo, a Zen Buddhist monastery, for a retreat. one whole week!

i don't, actually. i am going there with a group. i study Ohashiatsu at The Ohashi Institute in NYC

and every year for the past 20-something years, they've gone up there for a week or so

so i will be taking an Ohashiatsu class while I am there, and we will be chanting/meditating/eating with the monks

i was there last year for the first time for 4 days, and it was one of the best experiences of my life!
