the angle, the expression, the grin, the shadow....... this is the stuff

i had a very specific angle in mind for this one and could NOT find a reference/get it right on my own so i posed a clip studio model
it's funny bc i ended up doing a completely different arm pose than I had put on the model but as for the positioning and angle it super helped

YEAH that was the most solid idea i had... just this mental image of the shadow across a purple field

this character has taisho-era style fashion, so it was important to me to use the pattern brushes i have from a japanese CSP artist
