Like I said in kingdonkey's plurk, Bastion is super uncomfortable with being handed this power (having had similar things used against them), and that's multiplied by knowing Ari also has personal objections above baseline, so they try to avoid her completely for 24 hours.

I think Wilson would want to prove the compulsion was real by making her do one mildly unpleasant thing like eat a spicy pepper or stick her finger up her nose, but he wouldn't want to take advantage of it. He would probably try not to use it but give her an order accidentally by phrasing something the wrong way.

If it wasn't just him the curse applied to, and his castmates were there, he might order her to stay away from WX-78 for her own safety until it wore off so they wouldn't gleefully order her to do a bunch of menial and/or dangerous tasks.
