It’s about $15/night. I get my own room/bath. Not 5 star. The water pressure is nothing to write home about. Not sure I have hot water. At these temperatures, I don’t need it. But the room seems clean enough. There’s WiFi. pool. No English spoken here, but I reserved online, so the hard part was done.

Now that I’m showered, I almost feel human. I need to adjust to the weather. Will stay 2 nights.

I did a walk around. No restaurant. Found a supermarket where I got a sandwich and nuts for dinner.

I’ve arranged a tour of the lagoon and a cenote tomorrow. It’s a “3 hour tour.” Should I be worried?
