omgwtfbarb: not at all!! Normally it's in Dutch. In the bigger cities the menus are often in Dutch and English but everything else inside (signs and such) is in Dutch. Lots of places have an English menu upon request. I'm so used to Dutch now that I find the English menus confusing often. LOL They're not well translated. This place is a British tea house...
so everything was in English. Plus the owner is a British expat who was speaking primarily in English. She did speak a bit of Dutch with us, but her accent was so bad that it was almost unrecognizable. Yak drilled pronunciation into me, and as annoyed as I was about it, I'm glad he did it. I still have very much a non-Dutch accent but
