My kitchen was finished today!

They just need to rehang the ceiling lights but I asked them to wait because I never liked that lighting. It was so inefficient and the light never hit where I needed it to go. I bought a new lamp/fan combo today and I’m a bit excited about seeing it in action.

I’m exhausted. Completely exhausted. I’ll definitely be sleeping all day tomorrow. This AM the plasterer showed up at 7:30am. (The other guys come @8 ) He said he’d be willing to wait outside until 8am but at that point what’s the use? I’m already out of bed. Plus I don’t think that my doorbell speaker is loud enough when speaking through it.

Yesterday I was going through the voice memos on my phone. I found a few from Yak.
There was the meeting with the team of doctors where we learned of his diagnosis and treatment plan which was just....wow. Then there were about 3-4 of them with him snoring. LOL We were doing a thing to see who snores loudest (he won) so I recorded him a few times.

In other news, my doctor’s office called to reschedule my appointment with the doctor for this afternoon. Bummer. I really wanted to speak with him today too because it’s such a difficult day.

Twenty two years ago today my wonderful, loving and beautiful mommy left this earth for the next. I still miss her daily.
Also, eight years ago today my sweet precious Scoutie girl baby crossed over the rainbow bridge.
I’m sure that they’re hanging out together with grandma and Yak too eating chocolate and playing.

The deconstruction crew has moved into the kitchen area today. My kitchen is now completely unusable. Everything is covered with plastic. I’ll be so glad when this is finished.

I just went to pull the trigger and order those dresses but now three of them are out of stock! Bummer! The fourth one I listed is still available so I ordered that plus a couple of others. Should be here by the end of the week.

I’ve got construction work happening in here for the next two weeks and they have the audacity to want to begin at 8AM!!! Yes I said EIGHT AM!!! Please help me get through the next two weeks! LOL
They’re named Jacko and Jamai. I’ll be calling them the J&J show.
Plus one of them has horrible body odor!! Ugh
