We need an old, abandoned house as close to the Pee Dee region of South Carolina as possible

a house that is safe to film in and that we can get permission to use, hopefully free of charge

Hmm. Who do you ask for permission, for an abandoned house?

The house would also need to look late 1800's early 1900's New Englandy

Because people still own the property and could get quite sued if somebody were to get hurt

Also, if they see it in the film and did not give permission, then we could get quite sued as well

Ah. to me, 'abandoned' means no owner. But I've never delved into what happens after the abandonment. Now curious. Google ahoy!

yeah, if you have time, check around places using google maps/earth, you never know what you can find
