wow, that was even better than I was anticipating

I don't think I've ever seen an anime that made me think "thematically ahead of its time" so much...

It's a pretty cool series. (I say this with a certain degree of understatement.)

it was so well paced! And creative!

I've seen the "prince instead of princess" thing, but not that particular idea...

It has been done, but I don't know if it has been done when the heroes were of opposite sexes.

Utena is like the only anime that is actually about uprooting The System, I love it

every other show is about stopping the evil guy from trying to change the world

Utena is gonna change the world

it's kind of...un-Japanese...!

I got that impression from the FIRST EPISODE O_O

oh jeez I love beat the system stories...

so much that Netflix LITERALLY SUGGESTS movies from that genre to me, now

....i need to watch this show
