seeing a familiar looking face, feels curious. She approaches him, carrying her umbrella. "You'll catch cold if you do that you know."
glances in the direction of the familiar voice, offering Hungary a wide, uncharacteristic grin. "I might...but then again, it's so lovely
out here. Why not take the risk?"
smiles in return, surprised a little at his reaction. "That's true." she agreed, walking over and allowing herself to feel the rain as well.
"I've sort of forgotten what this feels like." she thinks aloud.
outstretches his arms, humming cheerfully to himself. "It rains so often around here, but...I never really take the time to enjoy it.
Sometimes we get to the point where everything becomes an inconvinience rather than a blessing, you know?
extends her hand to try and collect a small pool of raindrops. "Water is the earth's most precious blessing, for all of life at least. Nice
to give it some appreciation once in a while." she says turning to him.
can't help but chuckle at that, standing up and stretching a bit. He's drenched to the bone, but for once he can't bring himself to care. "
You're absolutely right, Miss Herdevary. But I think that could be said about a lot of things, don't you?"
pauses to consider this. "That's true too...we've built our lives to be so distracting I guess." she responds, looking back at the subway
station. She smiles again. "Humanity is a foolish thing. But it's sort of wonderful you know."
nods thoughtfully, slipping his jacket off and ringing the water out of it as the rain starts to lighten up. "Precisely so...we've become
afraid of all the hardships, so we've shut them out, trying to pretend they aren't there...it doesn't make a difference in the end, though.
If only we could stand together and face the hardships as one..."
"That would be nice..." her sentence drifts away from her as she contemplates the future, the past and humanity. "But though that's not
impossible, it's unlikely. I think, for now at least, it's best to start small. Come to peace with the world on your own terms. Who knows,
