sympathizes. Would he perhaps care for some assistance, or at the very least, a distraction?
would appreciate that very much. Perhaps they could go to a teahouse or the like together?
would have no problem with that. Is there anywhere in particular you'd like to go?
knows a decent place not too far from his house...would you be able to meet him there?
sure he can manage. He just apologizes in advance... it seems the weather is not very agreeable. But he will be there as soon as he can.
would offer you an umbrella, if he were there...if you like, you can pop into a store and buy one. He'd be happy to pay you back for it

that that's quite alright! He knows about your weather, so it's not surprising to him. Ah, the storm seems to have cleared up a little. He's
that the weather lightens up at least a tad...he's already sitting down in the teahouse, so when you arrive look for him near the back. He
might even be playing out a few tunes on the piano there...
rushes out from the airplane the moment it lands on the ground, huddling the coat and umbrella to himself. He's quite ready for what England
and its weather has to offer, and he's on the way there now, though there's still a downpour occurring.
now feels a little guilty for inviting Toris over, as he's putting him through all this trouble...he'll have to make it up to you somehow. _
Perhaps a home-made batch of scones would do the trick?
doesn't think it's any trouble at all. He had been the one to offer himself as a distraction, and so, here he is. He's at the cafe now,
dripping a little as he attempts to look for you.
looks up when the bell at the door rings, looking a little relieved when he sees Toris has arrived...even if he looks to be absolutely
soaked. He offers the man a small smile, waving to him and pulling a towel out of his bag.
sees the other man waving and gives a small wave back, making his way over. He apologizes for everyone he has to pass by, however, because
he drips a little on them. So it takes him longer than it should, but he finally arrives at the table. "Ah... hello, mister England."
hands him the towel, feeling a slight twinge of guilt as he does so. "Hullo, Toris. I trust you've...ah...been faring well? How was the trip
takes the towel gratefully and takes a seat, rubbing his hair with it, before he looks up with a small smile. "It was fine. A little
turbulent than I expected, but that's alright. And I've been doing quite well, though... busy with paperwork, as you can imagine. Yourself?"
grabs two menus off a stack nearby, setting one in front of the other man. "I'm sorry...I suppose I ought to have done a raincheck before I
invited you." He chuckles quietly, smiling apoligetically. "I'm about the same...so busy that I don't really have any time to do anything
shakes his head again. "Really, it's fine. You can't do anything about the weather." He takes the menu and begins skimming through it.
"I suppose it gets the best of us every now and again. Ah! But we're here to take a break, aren't we? Let's forget about that for now." With
that, he turns his attention back to the list. "Hm... I'm afraid I'm not quite familiar with British cuisine..."
contemplates that for a moment before nodding, flipping through the 'sweets' section of the menu. "That's true...still, I can replace those
"It's fine, mister England, really," he laughs softly, not wanting to inconvenience the man. "I brought extras, just in case something like
waves the waitress over, setting his menu down. "Ah...I must admit, that's quite a relief. I still feel as though I owe you...how about we
start with a pot of tea to warm you up? Are you fond of Earl Grey?"
not quite ready to order yet, but goes along with the flow (albeit a little awkwardly). "A-ah... no, no, really. I suppose that's fine."
Truth be told, he didn't drink a lot of tea. "I can try it out."
nods, politely asking the waitress to bring them a small pot. "Well, the point of a teahouse is to relax, enjoy yourself, and hopefully
discover a new favourite. If you don't like it, we can always try something stronger or weaker."
