Be used if they tell each other that "hey this guy gave me money back so easily" so how can one be sure they really didn't get it?
titzuki: I would first check if the item they are referring to is in the gacha machine. Happened to us also once that lag hit hard and one item was not in the machine.
if it is in the machine I would tell them that gacha is a game of luck and if they can not get the item with the machine they shoul see if they can change a double or if they can find it on a yardsale
Idk what kind of scripts exist but mine just gives out a random item from the vendor every time so they should get something. It's not a specific item but they say they didn't get anything at all
Okays - this is strange... in this case hop there with an alt and test the machine. It always can be the lag tho - with gachas lag is always there
I might do that. But also it's not everyone just about 1 in 100 but still... I know that there are ppl for who that 50 ls matters but I also know there are many liars too.
So, there isn't a way to be sure don't they just want a free ride?
So... When it happens to you... How do you deal with it?
This has never happened to us tbh. We get complaints that people do not get a special item they want - but we never had the problem with people claiming that they payed and got nothing
Hmhm. What script /machine do you use? Not getting anything happened to me also before, I didn't message them about it but meh... Some ppl don't have income so I can understand it matters for them
Also, it's possible for lag to be the cause of the client viewer not receiving the item give request from the server
titzuki: what Lig and Paco said I would check first.
Otherwise - and that's what I do - I check if they played more than one time on my transactions. If they have, I'll offer them in this case, I'll send them a random item. So they get an item and not the money
Also, it's possible for lag to cause that despite your viewer tells you there's been a transaction, the transaction doesn't really happen. They should refresh their L$ balance the first to make sure.
I've had that happen in non-gacha events, not often, but it happens, so I assume this could be even more frequent in gacha events at prime time.
Thank u all for the useful responses! Yeah thats the first thing i check if they even played it, and they did, its just not got send. Sending a random item in exchange sounds a good idea, i think i will do that
^ what runa said.
the MD script and GTS script have logs, and it'll tell you who played and what they won.
But as a gacha addict who have experienced this: if a creator offers me a random item, I'll be happy enough and think that's fair.
Hey, mine has an e-mail add on to send e-mail reports of plays and what people won! I don't see that mentioned
ZeeZuleicca. I see how it is, favoritism
Wait, no I lied. I remember
. I recommend you for blogger boxes and tp thingie thoooo
I'm being mean. I do, and you've probably run in to it a few times but there are a ton out there nowdays. It's funny how many people made now!
Aww, yay! Thaaaanks
Thank you guys, i will definitely look for these other script i the future gachas - that would make things less confusing
I have a delivery script in all of my packs so actually when they open it I get a delivery message
It happens from time to time when people play too fast, or sims get laggy, or several people are playing the machine at the same time. I always just refund them as long as it's reasonable (cont)
because as a gacha player myself, I've had machines not deliver items before as well. I won't ever give them any specific item though.
Yes that's what i was doing too, refund, however they asked for a specific item, I dont think thats fair to give.
You are right, no one should demand specific items. After all, this person said they got nothing at all. So how can they know what they get.
Also, now im just dealing with things like this now. Shit just got real. Who knew selling a gacha was this confusing??
Screenshot
How one even answer to that? Thank you, hope you had a great time playing?
I don't think you need to answer the first part. Only the part where "two items didn't deliver", if you want to. They're not new to gacha.
luckily for me i didn't make rare this time but... i plan to, so i think i just have to get used to socialize aka deal with stupid rude people
I play alot of gacha & only once or twice do I IM a creator over a no gacha recieved I just chop it up to sim lag unless it happens a few times in a row but what i do is i screen shot my stuff to send a nc
I get in return most of the time either my L or random gacha picked by the creator
just ask for screen shots this is a common thing gacha addicts do & expect to have to have when IM'n a creator over a gacha item so they should have them
What I do nowadays for Arcade is I'll have the same gacha set up, same odds, etc where I can just play it and send them what I get. That way it's still completely random.
RalphieAFK: a screenshot? of the transaction i guess?
Betty_Doyle: That is a very good idea, i think i will use that method in the future too!
titzuki: usually since it's gacha if it was never recieved i do one of my invo + chat log/transaction notices in world to be safe
it's still kinda a trust issue but if they are willing to show screenshots then you can probably bet they arn't trying to jerk you around for extra gacha
meh, what I used to to was play the machine myself to ensure random, then send them whatever it gave me. Then I'd make a note in their profile to make sure it doesn't become a habit with them
I would never ask for a specific item without a screenshot of probably both the message in local showing what I won and also a pic of my sad empty inventory.
Usually though when I have non-deliveries I've sent screenshots with a notecard and just got the 50 or 75L back. It does happen sometimes because of lag.
thank you all, now im more exact how to handle this situation, i took notes on everything, you helped a lot!
