2020 still remains the weirdest, most surreal year of my life. Pandemic, losing lifelong partner, government sanctioned time alone (madness!), toilet paper mania, chunks of times lost as I was in a zombie/catatonic state 8 times out of 10....What's yours?

I took the day off today so I'm uncharacteristically at home in the morning. My old doggo stared. And the I went back to bed right after I fed him and what did I get for thanks? He ate, stared at me (again!) from the bedroom door, huff like a disappointed Asian parent and went to his bed...IN THE HOME OFFICE.

I haven't bought a single new clothing for the past 2 years and my closet is thanking me for it. Also my brain.

A local storage unit burnt down today and 1) my heart breaks for everyone who stored their belongings there and 2) I wouldn't wish to be Corporate that has to deal with the aftermath.

No amount of insurance would bring back photos, sentimental items etc. What a nightmare...
