I'm learning that it's harder to really connect with people who have been in Second life for a long time. It seems every one has been burned at some point and are afraid to trust.
It's easier to retreat and stay in one's safe zone.
I remember my early SL days when you would just assume trust. It was much easier to connect with people. At least for me.
It might be important to mention I've been in SL for over nine years.
I'm trying to come out of my comfort zone slowly, but it's easier to just be a loner lol but you're right though

Yeah, you're right. Everyone is so suspicious of each other.
I'm nearing a decade old! And have been burned about as often in SL as in RL. Mostly I'm just quiet in there cause I don't have a lot of free time, is all.
