I think a lot of my friends lately are other creators or people from plurk. Usually I meet friends through other friends. I don't really get out much, but when I was doing the roleplay sims thing, that also helped.

Roleplay mostly. I've made a few friends through Plurk. The biggest thing is just putting yourself out there and pushing yourself to interact with people, I think. Something I still need to work on xD

I mostly hang out on Plurk these days, and I rarely interact on SL, because, I dunno, I always feel like I'd be bothering people if I messaged them....what if they don't really want to chat with me LOL? In SL, I mostly shop and take pics of my av....

Since I don't really log into sl much anymore (busy rl) I hang on Plurk. I do meet more people here on Plurk, so I am happy about the fact I'm still "involved" with the community despite not being in world much

I think the best way to find friends is to plurk and talk in others plurks. if you can have a conversation you are halfway there.

My newer friends are all from other plurk friends. I hardly...if ever, log into SL anymore (too many rl issues) but I love lurking and chatting here on plurk.
