there was a centipede in my room and it wasn't even a house centipede

I managed to squash its back end with a shoe even though it was on carpet, but I wound up picking it up with a tissue while it was mostly still mobile so I accidentally dropped it once before I could flush it down the toilet

IT WAS SO GROSS and apparently could've bitten me, which would have been unpleasant because

guess what

they're venomous

fortunately I'm pretty sure it was the kind with the less painful bite, but I didn't get bit in the first place so it doesn't matter
