So far the only downside to Avalon is that it's even easier to enter certain characters I've wanted to play, but couldn't feel fitting into MoM, but I can only keep up with two characters consistently XD
[Spoilers for Dragalia Lost's A waltz of fate event]
Light barrier magic user Felicia Dragalia lost would be so good though.
Also my tiefling Isolt with elemental or dark magic would be so fun assuming I can get her into a D&D game so there's parallel character development.
Like. Light Barrier user Felicia would be so good because now she could protect people? Like. She's already a healer in canon, but like. /WAVES MY ARMS EMPHATICALLY
Her being able to defend people from danger, not just heal them once danger has already come to hurt them...
Like, she fights back against thanatos, but she knows she isn't a warrior? As far as healers go, she's also quite weak (she needs a mana spiral!!) even though she's, last I checked, the only one who can heal poison?
Also, imagine one of the most skilled and beutiful dancers in Dragalia Lost's franchise using light barriers to make her Dancing even more gorgeous.
Lays down. Cries. Felicia Dragalia lost didn't shy away from trying to protect Phantom even though she knew she had no skill or talent in it, but did it anyway, and being able to defend people for real with light shields would make her have so many feelings.
She was actually one of the characters I considered apping to MoM a long time back, but like, I didn't feel like she'd fit as well as I'd have wanted? It had also been a long time since her event ran so I was unable to do a canon review.
I think that Isolt going in afraid of this new magic thanks to personal reasons would just be. So good. But also I'd like for her to have more canon to update to so there'd be parallel character development so she'd have different relationships with her various powers?
My entertainer Sylvia with Elemental magic would be a treat though, too. She's very personable, and she could put on little shows once in a while! I love playing her, and honestly she's SUPER easy to play.
Honestly if the immune system stuff I got called for today helps with my general energy and ability to exist, I may try apping good old Sylvie some time after two or so months.
She's a character I sonsistently like to play, and she can be a little prankster.
