OK, pretty well convinced. Karma is random. Mine just went from 3.5 or so (didn't write it down) to over 7.5 in a day... and a day with one private plurk, too. As opposed to days with 3 or 4 public, Karma went up (if at all) by maybe 2 points. Weird.
