The volunteer group who brought me my cat from Ukraine had their van targeted by a Russian drone during an evacuation trip. They were transporting their first customers of the day, an injured mom and her 9 puppies. All survived!

I just heard my cat push so hard in the litterbox he got me worried. I hope he’s ok.

Do you pronounce ‘massacre’ like massa-kree or massa-ker ?

It feels good.

So fucking awkward, the Chronopost guy delivered me a heavy package a second day in a row and because I depend on him to come up every time because I can’t carry heavy things up the stairs I was extra smiley and friendly thanking him today which I guess gave him the wrong impression because he asked if he could come by and see me later 🤯😶‍🌫️

Volunteers dropped off kitty at 2am last night. They drove all over the country dropping off animals with families. Walking in my pyjamas to the truck to collect my cat in the middle of the night was surreal. I was barely coherent and totally forgot the Ukrainian greetings I had meant to say. I was mortified later. But the lady Oksana was kind and hugged me

Volunteers are going to bring me a cat from Kharkiv at the end of next week and I’m googling how to trim a long-haired cat’s butt

had a video call straight from the frontlines in southern ukraine today, with a soldier I know. He showed me his dugout, the view from it, I greeted the two other soldiers sharing it with him and he pointed at the position of the Russians in the horizon.
