When we handed out flyers over a week ago a guy in a small close on eth other side of the road recognised Squeaps instantly. Today he told us that he thinks he saw her just a day or two ago in his garden. It was dark but it looked like her and was limping as though injured.

Squeaps has been missing for 10 days now. Realistically there isn't much chance of finding her alive.
If she wasn't badly hurt she would have found her way back, so we have to assume that she was badly injured and couldn't get home
My only hope now is that she is alive but suffering trauma amnesia and has been taken in by someone.

Please everyone - the children that saw Squeaps hit by a car said that she rolled over, got up and ran away, so please keep positive thoughts that Squeaps is still alive and we will find her (or she will come home)

after feeling positive yesterday, today I'm really down. On the phone to the care home to find oit how late is OK for wandering around calling, and it wad a different duty manager. This one said "oh she'll just have mistaken one of the cats" 😕

Possible sighting! A woman on FB suggested putting up a poster at the local care home. Printer is acting up but I managed to print a decent copy and we took it this morning.

Another day with no sign of Squeaps. Another walk around the area calling and asking strangers whether they've seen her. No flyers left and the printer has gone haywire, but some people took photos of a flyer to send to friends.
We're learning so much about her - the routine she had every morning, or the fact that she likes playing in a neighbour's garage.

Squeaps (real name Mina) is missing. She didn't come home yesterday evening and still hasn't come back over 24 hours later. This isn't like her at all.

Going out soon (around 11pm) to call her again. Sound carries better at night and we might hear her squeaking back at us.

Feeling dizzy and a bit light-headed. Not good when we are putting crockery into new kitchen cabinets and a lot of it has to come down from the spare bedroom.

Feeling stupidly weepy today. I'm scraping tile adhesive off the kitchen walls because we aren't putting more tiles up and plastering over it isn't a good idea.
