Went for Korean food tonight with a university era friend. 😁

Checked on the balances on two Starbucks cash cards. Drained one on a coffee and a donation on a Remembrance Day poppy.

Took my mom to Walmart to do some shopping. We had cheeseburgers at the McDonald's in the store and then picked out an alarm clock. We also had a coffee grinder and filters in the shopping basket. As we headed towards the checkouts, the power went out. Overheard a staff member say "Evacuate". I returned a couple items to the shelves and then we left. 🙂

Another thing, even though I checked in online and got an online booking pass, I was still given a printed boarding pass when I handed in my suitcase for loading.

if one uses the ArriveCan app to fill out a customs declaration but there is no eKiosk at the arrival area of the airport then one has to do the declaration all over again (plus have your picture taken) at a normal kiosk. Though the print out has only a declaration number and photo...border agent retrieves the declaration online. 🙂

going to take a nap. Have arrived safely in Canada. 🛬 Plane had a good tailwind and arrived 40 minutes ahead of schedule...even though take off was delayed by half an hour.
