nice day today.. Can see the castle with the Olympic mountains in the background.. Finally getting some decent weather..

Actually the place I went has 5 bars and restaurants attached to a hotel.. One on the roof isn't open yet and the night club in the basement is after 8 pm only..

Luckily there happened to be a bar near where I went shopping.. 🤣

Getting harder to eat what you like at times.. I make my list as I go along but when the store flyers come out many items are just too expensive and I have to rethink things based on what is on sale.. I found a Japanese grocery / Deli that I didn't know opened near my place.. Got some deals on sushi and nagiri and noodles etc for soup.. 🍜

I have lived in Victoria for 37 years and I had no idea there was a palm tree down by the water...

This is the place I normally go... Mostly seniors my age and people I do see a lot..

Out having some Christmas cheer last week with friends.. Bar friends as I never see them anywhere else.. 😀 the first is the bar in the afternoon... Second is same place before it opens and third is the outside of the hotel..

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all... Been another difficult year but just have to keep plugging away... And to top things off it's snowing out... 🤣
