Ballet today, was pretty fun, no dev though. On vacation now and mostly wrapped up plans so I can get to work again soon.
More no dev today, long meetings and such. Don't feel the drive with all the recent busyness.

Busy day and I kinda just don't want to work on UI, so nothing getting done.
Finally fixed the lobby player name issue, it was a missing string conversion in one spot, this is why I like strict typing. I think I want to polish up the UI in general next, make it not the default Godot stuff. This will be painful and a learning experience.
Hanging out with parents today, no dev.
Fixed up some bugs, everything much more stable now, incredibly happy with it. Should try and figure out some minor lobby bugs next.
Rope works great now, and I got there by simplifying a bit too. Need to test all these changes with a friend though to make sure it holds on a slower connection. Next I need to fix up a bug with how controlled weapons work when the character dies mid use.
Turns out I was underestimating myself and the sync stuff was easy. Having said that, I REALLY underestimated myself because the rope is already synced and I can't figure out HOW. I can't find why it works.
Company Christmas party today, socializing knocked me out for a couple of hours after. Not even trying to do anything productive.
