[hh] Good news, all! I joined a writing workshop on novel revision (I'm revising/filing the serial numbers off of H&E to turn it into a published novel), and my instructor LOVED the revised first chapter!!! I'm so proud!! <3
EEEP! I just signed up for a creative writing workshop at our big fancy creative writing center! I'll be revising Harboured and Encompassed (and filing the serial numbers off it) in the hopes of turning it into something publishable!! I'm terrified but also excited! Wish me luck?
OMG!!! I got accepted into a tall ships training program!!! I'm going to be sailing on the Lady Washington in September - climbing the rigging, navigating, steering, etc - and I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
[hh] Does anyone get into writing ruts where they can barely write ANYTHING because they keep editing the crap out of every sentence they put down and talking themselves out of every single narrative possibility they come up with? If so, what are your favorite solutions for working through it/overcoming it?

[hh] Whelp. Well, I chucked most of the 30,000 words of the sequel I'd been writing and started over, this time with more angst (they were all communicating too well and too healthily, the little darlings), and I'm much happier with this new plan! I'm 5000 words in. Wish me luck!!!
