[emt stuff] I PASSED MY SKILLS TEST!
Oops, I am the lamest at plurk. Also, remind me that doing an ambulance shift on Cinco de Mayo? TERRIBLE IDEA.
Sorry for seeming like a flake: mom took a turn for the worse and had to drop everythang and dash out of state for a bit.
Ridiculously excited: I just volunteered to be a practice victim getting sawed out of a car for our local FD.
Tactical error: Oh, hey, I can do the standby at the ambulance co for St Patrick's Day. It'll be quiet. I'll catch up on tags!
[netflix] 'We just added a documentary you might like: "Russia's Toughest Prisons".'
[snow day] WELP, the blizzard was kind of a bust, but at least I got laundry done and baked cookies!
Last night's conundrum: the EMT/ALS on shift who is really great about wanting to teach me stuff that's not even in our EMTcourse (like how to read EKGs)...is a self-announcing racist.
In theory, we learned how to deliver babies last night.
Today so far: Attempting to fix our stapler, I sent staples flying right at our PAs face. x_x
