I always forget about Bette's short appearance in Superboy #65 (1999)

Batman and Robin, much like the Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing, seems to be a book I'm picking up pretty much just because there's a C-List villain whom I inexplicably love appearing in it.

Doing some canon review for Bette, and I somehow always forget the very short plotline where Director Bones believed he was Jacob Kane's long lost son.

I'm reading the Marvel Masterworks Atlas Era Venus Vol 1 right now, and I noticed something in the first issue that I hadn't given much thought to before.
